Community Connection

Our full time Community Coordinator, MaKayla Dickens MHRT-C provides linking and connection assistance and support to MOCO residents who do not qualify for case management or are pending a case management referral through an outside agency. The role of the Community Coordinator is to aid and support our residents by helping share the knowledge of community-based resources such as YMCA, Capital Club House, Linc Peer Recovery Center, etc.

The main goal for the Community Coordinator is to assist MOCO residents in being able to move towards independent living, while being able to manage their basic needs such as budgeting, keeping up with needed paperwork to keep their benefits (MaineCare, Medicare, food stamps, social security,
LIHEAP, etc.).
